The San Antonio Public Library changes lives through the transformative power of information, imagination, and ideas. For more than 110 years, the award-winning San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) has been a vital center for free learning, knowledge, communication, culture, and enjoyment within the City of San Antonio and for all Bexar County residents.

Children
Ages 1-12
Children’s Services provides access to books, media, and creative activities that nurture an early love of reading and learning.

Teens
Ages 13-17
Promoting access to a range of books and other media, engaging teens in active collaboration through programs designed for them, and providing an environment that
meets the intellectual, emotional, and social development needs of our teens.

Adults
Ages 18+
Providing self-directed education and entertainment, instruction for individuals and groups, as well as community and cultural events.

Currently providing programs that include virtual book clubs, take and create craft kits, on-line chess club, and more.
