SAPL is Here For You!
Our world is experiencing some drastic changes. SAPL wants to let you know that we are here for you throughout the process! Explore the links to the right for creative ideas, eBook picks, resources to help you and your family learn from home, and virtual programming.
It’s our hope that the various ideas and resources – whether for fun or to help your family learn – will serve as a relief for you and your whole family as we band together while apart!
Phase 3E @SAPL: Brisk browsing is now available, which means a limited number of patrons may come in to the library, look at books, CDs, and DVDs, check out selected items, and pick up holds before leaving. Areas to sit and read are not available at this time. One-hour computer appointments are available Tuesday between 12 noon and 8 pm and Wednesday through Saturday between 10AM and 6PM. Limited printing is available, though copying is not.
To limit the spread of COVID-19, temperature checks and symptom screenings are done before patrons enter the library, and all patrons over 10 years old must wear masks. Contact-Free Pickup for holds is still available at all locations. Please see schedules and information below.
How Contact-Free Pickup Works
To place items on hold, search the catalog or call 210.207.2500.
We are operating with limited staff to follow social distancing guidelines. We will fill your holds as quickly as possible, but wait times may be longer than usual. Thank you for your patience.
Holds that were available before the closure are still available even though they might not be showing up in your account. If you have questions please call your local library.
Please follow social distancing guidelines while waiting for your checkout to be processed. Stay at least six feet away from other people, and avoid gathering in groups.

What if I need special accommodations due to a disability or other reason?
We have a variety of ways to contact library staff including by phone (local branch number or Central at 210-207-2500), chat at ask.mysapl.org or text 210-591-7445. If there is something else we can do to help, please let us know.
