Current Services and COVID Procedures

Patrons may come in to the library, look at books, CDs, and DVDs, check out selected items, and pick up holds before leaving. Areas to sit and read are now available. Library public computers may be used by patrons. Limited printing is available, though copying and scanning are not.

Since Pruitt is dual school and public use, we follow NEISD protocol for mask usage. Currently, while masks are acceptable, they are not required.

Contact-Free Pickup for holds is still available at all locations. Please see schedules and information below.

How Contact-Free Pickup Works

To place items on hold, you can search the catalog or call 210.207.2500.

We are operating with limited staff to follow social distancing guidelines. We will fill your holds as quickly as possible, but wait times may be longer than usual. Thank you for your patience.

Please follow social distancing guidelines while waiting for your checkout to be processed. Stay at least six feet away from other people, and avoid gathering in groups.
